Our Workshops

Training and fun with your local community

We run a variety of creative workshops catering for the needs of local groups, primary, secondary and special schools along with further education and adult learning establishments.

Secondary Education

Our work is High Schools is more ambitious to challenge the children and encourage imaginative and creative thinking to solve problems.  We have designed and built large outdoor eco shelters and sensory gardens.

Our Crystal maze maths projects for  Creative Partnerships was brilliant learning We designed and made in class large scale maths puzzles to challenge each team. The mission was to complete crystal maze tasks built by all year 7 classes

We have built huge willow swans and dragons and sharks anything large and threatening with big teeth is always a good fun to scare the teachers. We also build subtle natural land art forms to understand sculpture and place

Primary Education

We have run lots of workshop projects with many Primary Schools Across the whole of the West Midlands. Ranging from Big Outdoor Willow Sculptures to Big Pictures and other smaller scale projects using materials found in the School Grounds and local area.

In the Classroom we make sculptures about the natural world or anything else the children can think of. It’s very easy to do and teachers learn new skills, so can provide benefits for the whole school.

Materials we use include willow, other locally sourced products of nature along with tissue paper, Glitter, cardboard and fishing line. They look great, everyone has lots of fun and learns something new.

Adult Education

Our artwork with Adults creates more ambitious and 3 dimensional works. I like to explore mindfulness within the work we make and the art holds some practical purpose either decorative or useful. We build animal sculptures and garden structures to grow plants through. Adults are often the communities that help with the big sculpture builds and Sensory garden projects are where the skills and extra strength of big people helps.

My communities that I work with in the week are Adults with complex needs. We run mindfulness projects that are absorbing and in the moment. Sewing Tracy Emin textile art onto blankets or building ceramic wall art pieces.

Making Aboriginal dot paintings and Van Gough drawing techniques are just a few of the things we have explored.

Having fun and forgetting your problems for a while is what we aim for. It is about connecting to a higher creative mind that we try to teach while making art. Learning new skills and sharing the experience in a creative environment is good.

Special Needs

We enjoy running all sorts of creative projects with Special needs Schools in the West Midlands We make giant puppets or Sensory spaces that will give the children a fantastic fun day making things and getting creative with colour and willows.

In the Classroom we make sculptures about the natural world or anything else the children and teachers can think of. It’s very easy to do and teachers learn new skills too.
